Pilot Reviews

He made inappropriate comments and made me feel uncomfortable for the entire ride. At least I passed.

What a dick

Has a terrible reputation and called of my students a n@&$:! On a checkride

Everyone I’ve talked to felt the experience was not only negative, but also disrespectful.

Not a particularly pleasant experience. He was quite rude at the start of the checkride but seemed to change his demeanor once he realized I was well-prepared.

On a checkride Jim showed what he believed was a proper power on stall which was to enter the stall at 80 knots and make the aircraft enter a whipstall. His attitude as an examiner is very poor and his is the example of all five hazardous attitudes.

Solid guy. Learned a lot on my checkride. Reasonable cost/expectations.
