FAA Medical Prep Beta

BETA: FAA Medical Prep is under active testing and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated wording even when a source and review date are displayed.

The tool is not all-inclusive and does not capture every fact an AME or the FAA may consider. The FAA generally updates its AME Guide monthly. When AME Foresight detects a source change, the last approved guidance may remain available with an update notice while the new material is reviewed. The current official FAA source, applicable regulation, and any individual FAA Authorization or SODA control over an AME Foresight summary or report.

“Your AME can likely issue at the exam” means only that the answers entered match a cited FAA “Issue” or CACI pathway in the reviewed rule. It is not a probability estimate, eligibility determination, promise, or fitness-to-fly decision. An AME must review the complete application and examination and may issue, defer, or deny as authorized by the FAA. The FAA may also review or reverse an issuance.

Aviation Safety and Reporting

The Service does not determine whether you may exercise pilot privileges. You remain responsible for truthful and complete FAA reporting and for complying with current regulations and restrictions, including 14 C.F.R. § 61.53.
