Review Disputes & Content Removal

1. Reviews Are Third-Party Content

Ratings and reviews (“PIREPs”) on AME Foresight are submitted by members of the public and reflect the subjective opinions of those individual users based on their personal experiences. They do not represent the views of AME Foresight. As an interactive computer service that publishes content provided by third parties, AME Foresight is not the author or publisher of user reviews within the meaning of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230). This page explains how to ask us to look at a review you believe violates our content standards.

2. Our Content Standards

Under our Terms of Service, user reviews must be accurate and based on genuine, first-hand experiences, must not be defamatory or contain personal information about others, and must comply with applicable law. We may remove or hide content that violates these standards, at our discretion.

3. How to Dispute a Review

You have two ways to bring a review to our attention:

  • Report a specific review. Each published review has a “Report this review” link. Use it to flag a review and tell us why.
  • Contact us directly. Use our contact form and select the subject “Review Dispute / Content Removal Request.” Please identify the profile, the approximate date of the review, and the specific reason you believe it violates our content standards. If you are the examiner named in the listing, say so; we may ask you to verify your identity through a confidential channel.

4. What Happens Next

Our target service levels for content disputes are:

  • We aim to acknowledge your request within two (2) business days.
  • We aim to reach a decision within seven (7) business days of receiving enough information to evaluate the request.

When we determine that a review violates our content standards—for example, it describes an event that did not occur, appears to be part of coordinated or inauthentic activity, or contains prohibited content—we may hide it from public view. We generally retain the underlying record internally for fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance rather than deleting it. Decisions are made at our discretion, and we may decline requests that do not identify a violation of these standards.

5. Information We Keep About Reviews

To detect abuse and to respond to disputes, we log limited technical information with each submission, including IP address, browser user-agent, and an anonymous submission identifier. This information is retained for fraud and abuse prevention and legal compliance, and is disclosed to third parties only when required by law or valid legal process, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publicly display a reviewer’s identity or contact information. If you wish to pursue a claim against the author of an anonymous review, that generally requires appropriate legal process directed to us.

6. Listing Removal Is Separate

Examiner listings are drawn from publicly available FAA data. A request to remove or hide an entire listing is handled separately from a review dispute. If you are an examiner and wish to discuss your listing, please use the contact form and describe your request. Note that purchasing a Verified Profile is a separate, optional product and does not remove or suppress genuine reviews.
