Went for a CFI-I checkride. Overall experience included confusing me by filling up the entirety of the two white bords in the room he conducts checkrides in and bouncing from one to the other asking questions about things we have already discussed 45 mins - 1 hour previous then would stop me mid sentence to tell me about how he hated working for a cargo company then ramble about his children while handing me his disgusting ipad that appears to be owned by a child previous to him.
Charges $1400 cash. Closed book checkride and will fail you for answering a question wrong the first time. Rambles on for hours about personal issues, jet skis, bad mechanics, getting people fired in various positions. Checkride is extremely easy if you are a good looking female.
