Best DPE I've worked with - waited an extra couple weeks so I could go with him and it was worth the wait
i did my instrument with cole and would highly recommend going with him... he was thorough but rephrased the questions when i didn't understand something.. scheduling was easy (actually was the only dpe to return my calls).... i saw the acs tables in his notes and since i studied based completely on the acs it was really straightforward... Took about 5 hours
Cole Norton was easy to work with for scheduling and had good availability. He told me that he usually avoids booking students too far in advance to be certain that they are actually ready before scheduling. My instructor and I thought he was professional, personable, and fair. (Commercial check ride). The first thing he asked for was my FTN and he wanted a copy of as much information as possible in advance to make sure I had all the requirements met. Though it made sense that he charges a flat rate fee so it's the same no matter which check ride you need.
