was a very good experience with colby ,In general he has been fair and useing clear and direct question .
I have done both my PPL and instrument rating with Colby as my DPE, in both instances it was a very pleasant experience, he is really accommodating making sure you are comfortable and ready for the check-ride. He is really thorough and has incredible attention to details. In general he has been fair as well as informative with his criticisms, during the debreif he explains your mistakes as well as the correct answer or what he would like to see, his recommendations and comments have made me a better pilot and I will sure be happy to have him again as my DPE.
