One of the most unprofessional pilots I’ve had the displeasure of meeting. Screams at students and instructors alike. He has a gross misunderstanding of regulations and incorrectly disqualifies applicants. Likes to speak poorly of other instructors, schools, and DPEs (which means if you’ve worked with him, he’s probably spoken poorly about you, too!). Before scheduling a check ride with him, you should ask yourself why he’s available while others have months long wait lists.

Haven’t met a single person with a nice thing to say about this guy. Extremely unprofessional and vulgar, even by Pilot standards. Doesn’t know the regs and is misinformed on many topics. He will encourage your student to operate the aircraft in an unsafe manner to get the Checkride done in the shortest amount of time possible, such as taxiing the airplane at 20+ knots around corners, and constantly cruising at max power settings. I wouldn’t send anyone I know or care about into a Checkride with him if he was the last DPE on earth. The one good review for him on here is clearly written by him btw. “If your instructor does their job” c’mon pal.

Fair, by the book, just goes through the ACS line by line. Sends you an email month before the ride so you have plenty of time to communicate and clarify. If your Instructor does their job, and teaches you well you will do great. By the book and fair.
